Its not the amount of space on your hard drive, but the amount of RAM in your computer. You can either get more RAM into your computer, or get into the processes tab, and close all the processes you dont need. Ctrl +alt+del to get to your task manager, and the processes tab. http://www.processlibrary.com/ and find the processes that you dont need.

The memory being referenced is RAM. If you have been using CS with no problem and this has just started, something has happened either with some of your installed memory or the memory controller of the motherboard. You have not said how much memory you have installed and perhaps you are not aware of how much. It generally displays for a very short time at the beginning of the booting of the machine as the computer goes through a memory check.

It is fairly simple to install more memory but you must have the right kind. The internet sites for Kingston, Crucial and other memory companies generally have a database of computer memory types. Memory is also cheap at this time.

If you have Windows XP there is no need for more than 3 Gb of RAM as that is the maximum that XP will recognize.
The computer is running low on memory, not harddrive space.

you may need to purchase more memory and install.
