How do you photoshop hair onto your head???

I want to try an ashley tisdale hair on me and im pretty good with photoshop so i was wondering if there were any tutorials or something. Thanks!

Select the target hair with quick mask (use soft brush). Paste the hair into original image and make it look natural with mask layer.

open a picture of the hair into photoshop and (using the lasso with probably a 3 or 4 pixel feather) select the hair.

copy this selection

open your portrait picture and paste it as a new layer

from here you can move it into the right size and position

if there are gaps, you can use the clone brush to fill them in, and if there is hair misplaced, you can erase it with a soft eraser so you don't create sharp edges that look unnatural

Use the magnetic lasso tool
you basically just have to do a cut and paste... find a picture of the hair your like.. use the lasso tool to cut the hair off that picture and paste it on your own picture of yourself
