I've been uploading photos to use in the headers and contact tables, etc. They don't quite fit in place, even when I use the tool that allows you to use sections of the image. It would be much easier for me to do all the cropping of the photos in Photoshop, but I don't know what the dimensions need to be. For example, I'd like to create a header that fits exactly in place when I upload it in the editor. Thanks for your help!

You can do this:
Go to your profile and make it so that the section you wish to make a header for is visible.
Take a screen shot by pressing the [Print Screen] button twice.
Open up Photoshop.
Press [Control] + [N] to create a new PSD file.
Accept the default dimensions (this is the size of the screen shot you just took).
Press [Control] + [V] to paste the screen shot into the picture.
You should now be able to crop just the section you want to work on.
Hope this helps.

if you crop the photos and are exactly the right size, they might not be the same size in a screen with a smaller resolution. But download Pixel ruler, it helped me out a lot. it's an onscreen ruler that measures in pixels, that way you dopn't have to guess everytime or go through a bunch of code to find the exact dimensions. As for the screen resolution problem find out how much % the table takes up onscreen and use %s instead of pixel dimensions. Pixel ruler will really help here.
