I need help with photoshop, i need to convert the image into black and white only?

i am using the latest photoshop, the image is in color, and i need to basically have it in black and white only.

how can this be done?

Go under your menus to Image%26gt;Mode%26gt;Grayscale.

This will remove all "color" and leave it as a black %26 white image.

It can't, just change the colors manually, it does involve work, but is better for your character.
Image/Mode/Grayscale - then if seriously just B/W Image/Mode/Bitmap
you have to change it manually
from the top menu bar either image%26gt;mode%26gt;bitmap image%26gt;adjustments%26gt;threshold
Go to Image and then mode and select black and white. It will convert the image for you.
Photoshop is not used to do simple job.

That's easy...open the picture file, go to Image %26gt; Mode %26gt; Greyscale, and then save. Voila!

its REALLY easy, in the menu where you change the sizes and stuff, (cant remember without actually using photoshop) theres a menu at the top with an extension for the colour format, the picture should be in RGB format, theres black and white/mono or equivalent in there, just click on it to change
